Courage to Dream Bigger (Video) – Belong Church’s The Year of the Courageous Devotional Series

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think…” This Day 15 reflection from the Year of the Courageous Fast centers on courage, stillness, and trusting God to work beyond what feels reasonable.

Fight Back: On Fear, Flesh, and the Quiet Work of God

I was pumped, but over the course of 2025, I found that the only thing that needed killing was my own flesh, my own thought processes, and my own ego. It’s no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun.

I was in the way of God’s plan for my life. I trusted my fear more than I trusted my faith because, whether we want to admit it or not, fear is comfortable. It’s close. It’s familiar.”

A Labor of Love: A Dad’s Perspective of the Birth of His Daughter

My aim for this text is not brevity, nor is it to craft a novel, but to chronicle the birth of my daughter in an authentic, vulnerable, and transparent manner. I pray these words resonate with you and that you find value in this story.

You can be anywhere in the world, but you chose to be here with my thoughts. I do not take that lightly. I appreciate your time, and I appreciate you. I love you, so I wrote you this note.

My daughter Saige is a blessing to my wife and me. She is a miracle and is destined for a life of purpose and divine abundance. It seemed good to me to write an orderly account of her birth.

This writing serves multiple purposes: a reflection journal of a beautiful chapter of my life, a narrative for Saige to read when she can understand, and a testimony for the edification of the reader because God is faithful.
